Points Total Picks:
Winnipeg Jets Under 94.5 – The lost several key players from last year Brandon Tanev, Tyler Myers, Jacob Trouba, Ben Chiarot, Mark Dano, Matt Hendricks, Par Lindholm, Joe Morrow and Kevin Hayes. They also lost 2/3 of their defensive unit. This team will defintly regress this season and the 94.5 is too high of a number.
Vancouver Over 88.5 – The Cauncks added several new faces to the roster this off season. Signing defense men Tyler Myers and Jordie Benn. Also added Forwards Michael Ferland, J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser. Jacob Markstrom and Thatcher Demko can be solid goaltenders in net. This team had 81 points last season even though only winning 8 games in December and losing 9 out of 10 in Early November. So I think with the additions to the roster this could make the playoffs and look for point to go over.
Arizona Coyotes Over 89.5 – Coyotes were decimated injuries last season and still managed to collect 86 Points. Coyotes added Stanley Cup winner Phil Kessel and Carl Soderberg. Backup goalie Darcy Kuemper finished the season with a 2.33 goals-against average and .925 save percentage but managed a 2.05 goals-against average and .933 save percentage. This is the year that the Yotes make the playoffs in the west.
