Jimmie Johnson (+100) > Erik Jones – Bristol Motor speedway has treated Jimmie Johnson well over the last couple years there. He has notched a top 10 finish in 3 of the last 4 races at Bristol and also captured a victory there in early 2017. While Jones on the other hand has an average finish of 19.25 in his last 4 races at Bristol. Also has not cracked a top 20 finish in 3 of the last 4 there. I am going to roll with Johnson at plus money in his grand finale at Bristol this week.
Kurt Busch (-115) > Erik Jones – Kurt Busch is another one of those drivers that runs Bristol very well. In his last 5 races at Bristol he has an average finish of 7.2. Busch has had a top 10 finish in 4 of the last 5 races there; 3 of those were top 5’s and a victory at Bristol in 2018. As stated in the paragraph above this will also be a tough match up for Jones. Got to go with Busch with the short price.
Clint Bowyer (-170) > William Byron – It’s been a bit of slow start in the restarted season for Clint Bowyer. He captured his best finish of the new season finishing 16th last week in Charlotte. Bowyer has finished in the top 10 in 4 consecutive races at Bristol. Bristol is the perfect track for Bowyer to bounce back this season. William Byron in his career at Bristol has an averaging finish spot of 19.5 in 4 career races there and has never finished in the top 15. I look for Bowyer to race strong for a good finish. Ill lay the juice with Bowyer.
Aric Almirola (+100) > Ricky Stenhouse Jr – A driver that has not raced well at Bristol has been Stenhouse. His last 3 races at Bristol his average finish has been 30th. To be honest Almirola has not been that better either. In Almirola’s last 3 races at Bristol he has an average finishing spot of 32.3. This was coin flip bet for me but I’ll take chance with the plus money. Almirola is starting 2nd on Sunday and I think he can keep ahead of Stenhouse. Lets hope……
